Cadisdecor ("we", "our", "us") coordinates international shipping and logistics for wholesale glass decor orders. We operate a China-based production and export network, delivering to trade customers worldwide. This policy outlines our shipping methods, delivery terms, and logistics procedures.
1. Shipping Scope
We ship to business customers internationally from our production facilities and consolidation points in China. Our logistics network supports deliveries to major markets including:
Europe (EU and non-EU countries)
North America
Latin America
Russia and CIS countries
Middle East
Asia-Pacific
Australia and New Zealand
Africa
Shipping availability to specific destinations may be subject to trade regulations, sanctions compliance, and carrier service coverage. We will confirm shipping options during the quotation process.
2. Incoterms & Delivery Terms
All shipments are governed by the International Commercial Terms (Incoterms) agreed in your purchase order. Common terms we offer include:
EXW (Ex Works): Goods made available at our facility; buyer arranges all freight and assumes risk from pickup
FOB (Free on Board): Risk transfers when goods are loaded onto the vessel at the port of origin
CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight): We arrange and pay for freight and insurance to the destination port; risk transfers at origin port loading
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): We handle all shipping, customs clearance, and duties; goods delivered to your specified address
The applicable Incoterm will be specified in your quotation and confirmed in the purchase order. Different terms affect responsibility for freight costs, insurance, customs clearance, and risk of loss.
3. Shipping Methods
Sea Freight (FCL & LCL)
Full Container Load (FCL): Dedicated 20ft or 40ft containers for large volume orders
Less than Container Load (LCL): Consolidated shipping for smaller orders sharing container space
Transit times typically 15-45 days depending on destination
Most cost-effective option for bulk wholesale shipments
Air Freight
Faster delivery for time-sensitive orders
Transit times typically 5-10 days
Higher cost per kilogram; best suited for urgent or sample shipments
Subject to dimensional weight calculations
Rail Freight
Available for destinations along China-Europe rail routes
Transit times typically 18-25 days
Balanced option between sea freight cost and air freight speed
Express Courier
Door-to-door service via international couriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS)
Transit times typically 3-7 days
Best suited for samples, prototypes, and small urgent orders
Full tracking and delivery confirmation included
4. Lead Times & Transit
Total delivery time comprises production lead time plus transit time:
Production: 4-8 weeks depending on order complexity, customisation, and factory capacity
Sea Freight: 15-45 days transit depending on destination port
Air Freight: 5-10 days transit
Rail Freight: 18-25 days transit
Express Courier: 3-7 days transit
Estimated delivery dates will be provided in your quotation and order confirmation. Actual transit times may vary due to port congestion, customs inspections, weather conditions, or carrier schedule changes.
5. Packaging & Export Packing
All glass decor products are professionally packed for international transit:
Individual items wrapped and cushioned to prevent breakage
Export-grade cartons designed for container and freight handling
Palletisation available for FCL shipments
Fragile and heavy items reinforced with appropriate protective materials
Custom packaging and private-label packing available upon request
Packaging specifications and costs will be confirmed during the quotation process.
6. Customs, Duties & Import Compliance
The Customer acts as importer of record unless otherwise agreed. You are responsible for:
Paying all import duties, taxes, VAT, and customs charges in the destination country
Ensuring products comply with local regulations and import requirements
Providing accurate importer details and customs documentation
We will provide necessary export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and product compliance certificates where available. Additional documentation requirements should be communicated during the order process.
7. Insurance
Cargo insurance requirements depend on the agreed Incoterm:
CIF/CIP terms: We arrange insurance covering 110% of invoice value
FOB/EXW terms: Buyer is responsible for arranging cargo insurance
DDP terms: Insurance included in our delivery arrangement
We recommend all customers maintain appropriate cargo insurance regardless of Incoterm. Additional coverage can be arranged upon request at the time of quotation.
8. Shipment Tracking
We provide comprehensive tracking and updates throughout the shipping process:
Production status updates and completion notification
Booking confirmation with vessel/flight details and ETD/ETA
Bill of lading or airway bill copies upon shipment
Real-time tracking via carrier portals or forwarding platforms
Arrival notifications and customs clearance status (where applicable)
Delivery confirmation and proof of receipt
9. Delivery Issues & Claims
Inspection Upon Arrival
Inspect containers and packaging immediately upon arrival
Note any visible damage on carrier delivery receipts
Document damage with photographs before unpacking
Retain all packaging materials until inspection is complete
Damage & Shortage Claims
Report transit damage or shortages within 48 hours of delivery
Provide photographic evidence, packing lists, and delivery documentation
Insurance claims will be filed with the carrier or insurer as applicable
Resolution options include replacement, credit, or refund per our Terms & Conditions
10. Force Majeure & Delays
Shipping may be affected by circumstances beyond our control:
Port congestion, vessel delays, or schedule changes
Customs inspections or regulatory holds
Weather events, natural disasters, or geopolitical issues
Trade restrictions, sanctions changes, or export control updates
Carrier capacity constraints or industrial action
We will notify you promptly of any material delays and work with you to find alternative shipping solutions where possible.
